Overview

This case describes a unified career and recruitment platform for one of the largest employers in the country. It combined vacancies, internships, educational initiatives, and candidate progress tracking into one digital experience

The aim was to serve very different audiences — school students, interns, graduates, professionals, and technical specialists — without turning the product into a fragmented set of portals

Business Context

Before launch, recruitment and education initiatives were spread across disconnected systems. That fragmentation created friction for both candidates and internal HR teams

The organization needed one entry point for all career-related interactions, with cleaner candidate data flow, lower coordination effort, and a more consistent employer brand experience

Design Process

The source structures this project around a broad approach phase and iterative refinement. Candidate and business problems were explicitly mapped together

The design process focused on clearer path discovery, cleaner status visibility, and reducing the jump between jobs, internships, and education tracks

  • Candidates struggled to understand possible career paths
  • Jobs, internships, and education lived in different portals
  • There was no clear status tracking for applications
  • Internal teams coordinated manually across fragmented systems

UX Strategy

The core UX idea was to move from vacancy-based thinking to career-journey thinking

  • One platform for all career scenarios
  • Clear differentiation by audience and experience level
  • Transparent progress tracking
  • Consistent experience across programs and roles

Results

The unified platform improved conversion, expanded education demand, and reduced coordination work for HR teams

  • 124% increase in completed job applications
  • 750% growth in education program applications
  • 40% reduction in manual HR coordination effort

Outcome

The platform became a single source of truth for career entry and development across the organization

It demonstrates experience in large-scale recruitment platforms, multi-audience digital ecosystems, candidate-centric enterprise UX, and products connecting hiring, education, and growth
